ARTification are running an exciting, creative summer playscheme from the beautiful Pavilion and gardens in North Acton Playing Fields!
This summer ARTification have 15 spaces for local primary school children to take part in fun-filled activities which help them connect with art and nature. The workshops will be held on Monday to Thursday for 4-weeks from July 26th – August 19th.
Sessions will run 9am – 1pm and every other week we will focus on a new theme including:
- Art: exploring nature through art and creation
- Gardening: learning about the importance of insects and diverse natural habitats
The playscheme will be delivered by accredited playworkers whilst expert guest facilitators will kick off each new theme with an exciting Monday workshop, helping the children get inspired for the activities ahead. This is a free holiday club exclusively for children age 8 – 11, who live in Ealing and are eligible for free school meals. Healthy lunch and snacks will be provided, and the children can even have a go at growing their own food in the Pavilion gardens!
