Green Days Fete & Craft Fair at Bedford Park, Chiswick – 10th-11th June 2023

Don’t miss the 57th annual Bedford Park Festival and Green Days Fete & Craft Fair!

The Bedford Park Festival, including its opening Green Days weekend, is one of London’s best loved arts and community events, attracting thousands of people of all ages. It involves many local artists, musicians and performers, professional and amateur. With almost 20 events over two weeks, there is something for everyone – art, crafts photography, music, football, poetry, talks, walks and children’s and community events.

‘Keep Green Days Green’

Under this slogan, since 2005, the Bedford Park Festival has recycled all waste on the Green Days weekend.

This year the festival is sponsored by room2 Chiswick, which proclaims itself as the world’s first fully net zero ho(me)tel. You can find out more information about room2 Chiswick here.

On Sunday June 12th, from 11am to 3pm, in the Children’s Corner, room2 will be organising rubbish sorting on Sunday – working in teams and offering lollies to all kids participating.

They will also bring a smoothie bike with room2 Chiswick branding to produce fruit and veg smoothies, ideally from a product that would otherwise go to waste.

Cycle Zone & Electric Vehicle Zone

The festival is working with a number of local organisations to get you out of your petrol or diesel car, not only for Green Days but for the rest of the year.

At the Cycle Zone on Green Days, you can get a free service, security marking, information and maps. The Cycle Zone will be encouraging local people to gain the confidence to use bicycles safely.

For those who are thinking of taking to a bike, advisers will be on hand to help you choose, and gain the confidence to take to the road. There will also be free bicycle servicing (there may be a charge for parts) and some group cycle rides.

There is now also an Electric Vehicle Zone, which this year is supported by four electric car firms and our local authorities.
