Come along to Southall Grand Union Canal Wellbeing Way this August and take part in a foraging workshop to learn about the culinary and medicinal uses of plants growing in nature.
You’ll be joined by a Kitchen Buddy Nutritional Therapist and taken round on a canalside walk in Southall to identify and highlight the culinary and medicinal uses of tree leaves, blossoms, petals, roots, berries and fruits with Q & A discussions and also some tasting.
This event is being organised by Canal & River Trust – London & South East as part of the Southall Wellbeing Way project.
Throughout the summer and autumn, the team will also be holding a range of other activities and events including a programme of wellbeing activities along the canal and at the parks and green spaces. More details and sign-up information can be found here.
