Saturday 22nd January 2022 – 3pm to 6pm at Open Ealing (see below for details of the venue)
Come and join us on 22nd January for our inaugural in-person event at OPEN Ealing. This will be a fantastic opportunity to meet climate conscious individuals from Ealing, and to learn how you can be involved in making Ealing a greener and more sustainable place. We will also be celebrating the winners of our September photography competition and sharing our plans for the year ahead.
The winning entries from our photography competition will be on display at the venue, and David Howden of the Selbourne Society will discuss the winner’s special prize, and the wider work of the Selborne Society at Perivale Wood. This is your chance to meet the fantastic entrants who made the competition such a success!
The event marks nearly a year since ActForEaling began to set out our plan for a wider community response to the climate and ecological emergency in Ealing. Our activities so far have included No Mow May, our inaugural photography competition, our community paint along mural showcasing 10 steps to act for a greener Ealing, and even an appearance at COP26 in Glasgow! We hope to showcase some of our progress so far, as well sharing our plans for 2022!
ActForEaling’s aim is to address the climate and ecology emergency in Ealing, by sharing information, connecting individuals, and amplifying community involvement. We look forward to being joined by some of our partners on Saturday 22nd, representatives from local groups already working hard in the community to effect a positive change. Come along to meet others, and if you are not yet taking part, find out about opportunities for you to be involved in Ealing’s community response!
The event will be hosted at OPEN Ealing’s gallery space in Ealing Broadway from 3pm to 6pm. There will be refreshments including drinks and bites to eat. Open Ealing is at Dickens Yard, Unit 14, School Ln, W5 2TD.
Please note that all government Covid guidance will be followed. You will need to wear a mask during the event, and we kindly request that you attend only if you have had a negative lateral flow test on the day.
