Faith and Climate Change

St. Stephen’s are a Church of England Christian community with a congregation that spans from ages 0 to over 90, situated in W13. As Christians, an essential part of their mission is ‘to strive to safeguard the integrity of creation and sustain and renew the life on earth’. While this underpins all that they do, it is particularly relevant to the environmental agenda.

A part of the Eco Church scheme, St. Stephen’s have recently obtained a silver Eco Church award.

Over ten years ago they established People and Planet, a group which focusses on issues of social justice, peace and creation care in a Christian context. As well as meeting once a month they host events, join campaigns, promulgate information and much more. All are welcome to their gatherings and events.
