Could you help the award winning environmental organisation, Hubbub, set up a community fridge?
“A Community Fridge is a social space that brings people together to eat, connect, learn new skills and reduce food waste. Hubbub coordinates the world’s largest Community Fridge Network with a whopping 250 Community Fridges now running across the UK”.
Hubbub in partnership with the Co-op is funding 250 more Community Fridges in 2022, hoping to save 34 million meals from going to waste each year. They are looking for new people and places to help set them up. Maybe you are interested or know a community space or group that would be?
Hubbub have got all the funding and support to help every step of the way, and you would be joining a network of 250 fridges already making food-saving magic across the UK. More information on Hubbub and their Community Fridge campaign is available here.
