Acton market is running a Community Day on Thursday 24 August from 10 am- 3 pm.
The market is teaming up with Action West London, Acton Reduce and Recycle hub and the Met Police to host a community event on the Mount in Acton, by Morrisons.
On the day you will be able to:
Reduce, Reuse and Recycle:
- Bring clothes, books and small electrical items to be recycled.
- Find out and drop off tools for sharpening from Renew Sharpening
- Get help from Ealing Repair Cafe who will be offering advice and teaching how to mend your clothes. They can also show you the ways to sew on uniform labels and badges for when kids go back to school.
Get advice from
- Ealing Council about their green skills course for the under 30s
- Action West London and Met Police about recruitment opportunities
- Plus lots more activities on the day.
