Join Open Southall for their brand new courses to learn how to upcycle and remodel your clothes.
Experienced sewer and professional costume maker, Laura Holland, will share her experience as you learn how to take an unwanted piece of clothing and change it into something you want.
You’ll firstly start with a charity shop find – a man’s shirt for example, and turn it into a new and useful item of clothing such as an apron. There’s lot of other projects too, such as turning jeans into bags.
You don’t have to know how to use a sewing machine for this project, you’ll be taught all you need to know!
The sessions will be taking place throughout October and you can attend as many as you like.
