Located on Stirling Road, Acton, W3Â 8DJ, ReActon hub is your local reuse, repair and circular-economy hub. It is committed to prolonging the life of items, reducing the waste in Ealing and supporting community. We have all the great reuse activities in July at ReActon. Such as free school uniform, household paint and book. Ealing Repair cafe is also doing clothes mending and upcycling workshops.
🕒 Opening hours – July
In July at ReActon, our opening hours will be:
- Mondays: 11 am–2 pm
- Fridays: 12 noon–3 pm
During these sessions, you can:
- take free school uniform (both branded and unbranded) for primary and secondary students
- pick up household paint—perfect for DIY projects
- browse pre-loved books for all ages
- drop off items: school uniform, clothes, hangers, books, small electronics and garden tools
🧵Ealing Repair Café clothes mending sessions
Ealing Repair Cafe teaches everyone how to mend their clothes. They want to get more people valuing and wearing their clothes for longer and to move away from fast disposable fashion. They In July sessions include:
- Clothes Repair & Natter (1 pm–2 pm) Reserve place
- T-shirt Yarn Workshops (11 am–12 noon), where you’ll learn to transform old tees into yarn. Bring a t-shirt. Reserve place

ReActon Mural to reuse and repair
Come along and see our beautiful mural, painted on the outside wall for inspiration and an invitation to come to our activities at ReActon. The mural was designed by talented University of West London students, the mural celebrates recycling, repair & refill activities at ReActon.
The ReActon mural is an exciting project to promote the circular economy in Acton. It promotes all things to make resources in the Ealing last longer and reduce our waste. We invited students from University West London (UWL) to submit mural designs.
Earlier this year, the students winning design was selected. The winners were hired to turn their graphic design into a mural reality. Local pupils were also invited to submit their design ideas for toys they would like to see in a toy swap. From Our Lady of the Visitation, the talented Carter, Kaja, Mary, Mia and Zosia submitted their toy swap ideas. These designs have been incorporated into the UWL mural design.
With support from Paint Your Planet, the painting of the mural is complete and the transformation is incredible.
