Mural designs submitted by 11.59pm tonight (Sunday 30 October)

We cannot wait to see how Ealing’s young people want to promote sustainable fashion habits.

Designing a full scale mural in Ealing Broadway is a pretty incredible opportunity for any experienced artist let alone someone beginning their artistic journey aged 11-18 years. Details on how to enter are here: https://bit.ly/3DPhytr

Speaking of young people, #EalingSewnUp is thrilled to have young entrepreneur and environmentalist, Zaqiya Cajee offer us her top sustainable fashion tip in this short video. Zaqiya launched Swop It Up, which is a brilliant organisation that helps young people to organise clothes swaps at their secondary school or university.

Organising a clothes swap can feel a bit daunting at first, but with help from Swop It Up, it’s a breeze. Don’t forget if you’re based in Ealing – EalingSewnUp has your back as we are here to help as well.

So if you want to organise a clothes swap, get in touch with: team@swopitup.org or contact@actforealing.org.

Zaqiya’s tip is another idea for anyone finalising their design for the sustainable fashion mural competition.

Entries must be submitted by 11.59pm Sunday 30 October and a completed entry form that must accompany every entry. Full details of the Mural Competition and how to enter.
