Gunnersbury Park are inviting members of the public to join them for a hedge planting weekend on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th January. For more details and to sign up click here. You can also hear from one of gardeners, Spencer, on the latest from the project in the video at the “Community Choice” page here at Visit Gunnersbury.
In 2022, Gunnersbury embarked on a huge programme of events in the park, including a family day-out with dinosaurs, award-winning music artists, and immersive cinema. Under the Community Choice initiative, the local community then chose one of three projects to support with profits from the events. With 600 votes cast, the winning project of the Community Choice 2022 was “Planting new hedgerows to bring new habitats to the park”.
