Back for it’s 8th year, the Great British Spring Clean, run by Keep Britain Tidy, is a mass environmental action campaign calling for communities to take part in litter-picking to help protect the places and planet we love.
Every individual act we take to protect the environment makes a difference, but when we all come together, the difference we make is huge.
Litter-picking is a simple action that anyone can do to make an immediate and visible difference to their local area.
So, why not get involved in the challenge and make the pledge to help us achieve a cleaner and more sustainable Ealing?
Taking part couldn’t be easier – simply pledge to pick up a bag of litter or more between 17 March to 2 April 2023 and let us know how you manage to get on. You can pledge as an individual, a group or a school.
Keep Britain Tidy have also put together some handy guidance on Clean-up preparation and safety to consider before you get started with your clean-up.
If you’re looking for inspiration on how to get involved locally, why not check out the fantastic work of LAGERCan who run regular community litter picking events?
