Come to the special Pittzhanger Manor & Gallery Open Sunday from 10.30 am – 12.30 pm to celebrate Earth Day as part of Art Fund’s The Wild Escape project to find out more about the London Beaver project.
Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery is part of The Wild Escape, a major creative project for museums and schools inspired by Britain’s wildlife. We are partnering with member organisations from the London Beaver Working Group, including Citizen Zoo and the Ealing Wildlife Group, to raise awareness for a very exciting local project: their now-successful license application to reintroduce beavers to Paradise Fields in Ealing.
This special Open Sunday is free for Ealing residents, and includes loads of fun activities for families in Pitzhanger’s Manor and Gardens. On the day, join in these activities:

- Beaver inspired Art Workshop 10:30am – 12:30pm Create your own beaver inspired structure in the Manor with architect and artist Sahra Hersi.
- Outdoor Workshop on beavers dams and tracks: 10:30am – 11:15am or 11:45am – 12:30pm With Rebecca Cargill from Blue Fox Forest School.
- Beaver Introduction Booth 10:30am – 12:30pm Learn about the beaver reintroduction project in Ealing hosted by members of the London Beaver Working Group.
