Join in for a late spring walk through the wild spaces of Horsenden Farm, meeting native edible and medicinal plants.
Becoming familiar with the plants that grow on your doorstep is an opportunity to develop a relationship with the place you call home. This is an opportunity to slow down and be nourished by nature! This will be a gentle rambling walk, a chance to slow down and be nourished by nature.
You can expect to learn about foraging principles, plant identification, how to recognise plant families, recipes and kitchen remedies. Come and be inspired to walk through the woods in a new way, exploring your own intuition allowing yourself to be guided by the plants.
You can also expect to taste and nibble along the way with the walk finishing up with a tea tasting to introduce you to experiencing plants as more than their physical properties.
This walk is run by Charlotte Gordon, forager, intuitive herbalist and community grower. Come and enjoy a morning in nature, learning and receiving the wisdom of the plants.
