Need help mending your clothes? Let Ealing Repair cafe teach you how.
In January Ealing Repair cafe is launching two new meet ups in Acton, at ActOne Cafe and Cinema and W3 gallery, see full details below, with the plan they become a once a month meet up. Come along with your clothes mending pile and the volunteers will teach you how to patch and darn your clothes and textiles.
All levels of sewing welcome, from beginners to advance sewers, there’s always something new to share or learn. They will have patching and darning guides, sewing equipment, mending books and samples to inspire you and all the equipment to get you started.
Bring along any clothes that need mending for some helpful suggestions from our volunteers on how to fix your items. We ask you to support the café by buying refreshments from the café and not bringing from outside. All this for a small donation of £3 for the session to cover costs of equipment and expenses.
