Refills at Boston Manor

The Potting Shed sells refills for your kitchen and bathroom cleaning needs. Bring along your bottles and refill. If you don’t have bottles, they sell prefilled bottles that can be refilled on your next visit. The Potting Shed is the cafe in Boston Manor park by the children’s playground.

The refill station in The Potting Shed is run by Earthical who on Northfields high street and now sadly closed. They have launched with their most-loved liquids first. Everything from washing up liquid to shampoo, from laundry liquid to floor cleaner, from surface cleaner to hand soaps.

The refills are sold by volume. Make sure your bottles are measured, empty and ready to be filled up!

There are great reasons to shop with refill including:
✅ Shop packaging-free: bring along your own containers or buy their own prefilled to refill the next time
✅ No minimum measures – you can buy as much or as little as you want
✅ Reduce waste by only buying what you need
✅ Kind to the planet: The bulk packaging is recycled and have a zero-to-landfill policy.
✅ Support a local small business, every customer really makes their day.

How does it work?

  • Bring along empty containers.
  • Measure your empty containers, with water and write the volume on the container.
  • Put the items in your containers.
  • At checkout they will calculate your price based on your volume of the item and pay.
  • Do a happy dance as you leave the shop for all the good things you have done for the planet and a local business.
When you buy from a small business, an actual person does a little happy dance.
