The Community Climate Grants programme in Ealing is designed to help community organisations contribute to the borough’s net zero target by 2030. By implementing energy efficiency improvements, these organisations can lower their carbon emissions. Grants of up to £10,000 are available for eligible community organisations. The council will be prioritising the community organisations that are offering warm spaces for the first round of funding.
Before Getting Started:
Your organisation will need to be able to demonstrate that you work for the public benefit and are a not-for-profit organisation. You need to be based or predominantly active in the borough of Ealing.
You can apply for the grants, if you fit into the following groups:
- Registered Charity
- Community and voluntary group (this includes parents, teachers and friends associations – PTFAs)
- Co-operative
- Faith and Equalities groups
- Community Interest Company
- Social Enterprise
- Tenant Management Organisation
- Community benefit society

Please read the Community Climate Grants Brochure for more information. These grants are not for open for businesses, so if you are a business, please DO NOT apply.
How to Apply
Please follow this link which will open up an application form in Word, which you can download. Once you have completed your form please submit this by email to: climateaction@ealing.gov.uk by
Friday 31 January 2025, attaching any accompanying evidence.
After you have Applied
The Climate & Action Team will contact you for if the need to ask you more information. If successful and you require external consultants to carry out the improvements, you will need to provide one quote for the improvement works.
They will let you know in April 2025 if your application was successful. You will not be able to appeal the decision.
