Nature Drawing Workshops for Kids and Adults

Join Nature drawing workshops with Hazel from Ealing Wildlife Group. These workshops are on Sunday 19th January 2-4pm and Saturday 1 February 11-1pm in Boston Manor Park.

Relaxed indoors and guided workshop for children aged 15 years and upwards and adults welcome, all equipment provided. No experience necessary. Organised by Boston Manor Park in collaboration with Ealing Wildlife Group, with Hazel Atashroo leading these workshops.

These sessions are standalone indoor drawing group sessions. You will practice observation of nature and experimenting with art materials in a relaxed group. 

More about Hazel:
A cultural historian and artist. She has specialisms in cultural policy, the cultural industries and the visual and material culture of social movement activism. Her research focus includes visual cultures of 1980s London, the development of cultural and creative industries policymaking. Also covering contemporary museological and learning practices. She is currently teaching and publishing research.

Boston Manor Park

Boston Manor Park is the largest green open space in Brentford. With 34 acres of historic park, woodland, lake and meadow. It is the setting for the fantastic Grade I listed Boston Manor House. The beautiful grounds gently slope down to the nearby River Brent and Grand Union Canal.

The parkland includes a large historic ornamental pond, fine old cedar trees, a nature trail, and a children’s playground. Recent additions to the park include a wildflower meadow, and the restoration of the walled garden.
