Enjoy a free 2 hour Forest Bathing in Boston Manor Park on Thursday 27 February 2025, between 10 am and 12pm.
What is Forest Bathing?
Forest Bathing originated in Japan and a well-being practice called Shinrin-Yoku. It involves spending time under the canopy of trees to disconnect from the daily stresses we experience. The sessions will involve taking a guided sensory walk with some very simple exercises through a woodland area. They will conclude with a 20 min relaxation exercise under the trees. Research indicates Forest Bathing can lower stress levels, lift depression, improve energy, stabilise blood pressure and boost your immune system.
About your guide

About Boston Manor Park
Boston Manor Park is the largest green open space in Brentford with 34 acres of historic park, woodland, lake and meadow. It is the setting for the fantastic Grade I listed Boston Manor House. The beautiful grounds gently slope down to the nearby River Brent, from which Brentford gets its name, and Grand Union Canal.
The parkland includes a large historic ornamental pond, fine old cedar trees, a nature trail, and a children’s playground. Recent additions to the park include a wildflower meadow, and the restoration of the walled garden.
