With something for everyone, join the London Transport Museum Depot June opendays to celebrate a green past, present and future. The ‘All Signals Green’ Depot Open Days are Friday 6 June 2025 from 10:00-17:00, Saturday 7 June 2025 from 10:00-17:30 and Sunday 8 June 2025, 10:00-17:30. This is part of London Transport Museum’s Enjoyment to Employment programme. This a collective response that tackles the engineering and green skills shortage in the UK transport sector. This program aims to turn childhood enthusiasm into future careers.
Learn how engineering and changing technology has helped evolve London’s transport as we look to shape a more sustainable future. Public transport is constantly evolving, from the first electric underground railways to hydrogen-fuelled buses. Visit London Transport museum Depot for this STEM themed, summer event, and take part in a variety of special displays and demonstrations, expert talks, drop-in activities and more, all whilst exploring our collection of over 320,000 objects.

Enjoyment to Employment programme
London Transport Museum’s Enjoyment to Employment programme is a collective response looking beyond the short-term to secure the future of the transport industry and are very grateful to their partners for their support. They are actively looking for new partners to grow the Enjoyment to Employment coalition and to grow the impact and achieve their mission.
In return for joining the coalition the partners receive:
- An opportunity to make a meaningful difference to the skills gap in London
- Access to staff volunteering opportunities linked to professional development
- Access to Corporate Members Receptions and networking opportunities to meet directly with key members of the industry
- Public recognition throughout the Museum and from the Commissioner and Mayor at our leading industry events
- A place on our Steering Committee to share their knowledge and experience both with London Transport Museum and industry peers
