Join the Horsenden Free Nature Festival on Saturday 14th June 2025 from 11 to 5pm. There are many fantastic events for the day including tours of the farm and hedgerows, an introduction to nature photography, and woodland and foraging walks. Horsenden Free Festival of Nature
Celebrate, discover and learn about the abundance of nature at Horsenden. This free event is a celebration of nature that seeks to enthuse and encourage the community to engage with nature and learn about the natural environment. Throughout the day there will be activities for all the family to enjoy. Come along for:
- Talks and tours with our resident experts and volunteers, full details of activities at Horsenden Nature festival.
- Local crafters will be selling their wares
- Conservation groups including Ealing Wildlife Group and London Wildlife Trust will be there to answer all your wildlife questions.
- Refreshments are available all day with hot food and a delicious selection of goodies from:
- Horsenden Loaf bakery and BBQ https://www.thehorsendenloaf.co.uk
- Hayloft home baked cakes, teas and savoury snacks.
- Drinks will be available from Perivale Brewery and The Dodo Micropub, Hanwell.
Please note: Parking on site for the day is restricted to Blue Badge holders and exhibitors only.
Horsenden Farm is close to Perivale underground station and the 297 bus route. Free street parking is available nearby.

Friends of Horsenden Hill
Horsenden is a beautiful nature reserve and thriving community farm in West London.
Friends of Horsenden and local volunteer group look after areas of Horsenden (Horsenden Hill, Horsenden Farm, Horsenden West, and Paradise Fields). Horsenden Hill is Ealing’s largest nature reserve. Comprised of ancient and young (and newly planted!) woodland, meadows, wetland and hedgerows, it’s a wonderful site for everyone to visit and enjoy. Horsenden Farm is a working community farm at the foot of Horsenden Hill. The vegetable and animal pen areas are closed to the public. Many other places are open to the public, including
- Playground with pirate ship, near the Grand Union canal and carpark
- Picnic area with tables
- Walks around Horsenden hill including Gruffalo trail.
- Toilets and free car park
