The Zero Hour team, together with over 1,000 local and national organisations, is calling on the Government to take urgent action on the climate and nature crisis and support the landmark Climate and Nature Bill. You can help by writing to your MP, to local councillors, and by joining the march to parliament on Wednesday 9 July 2025 and join the lobby for nature restoration and climate action.
What is the Climate and Nature Bill?
The Climate and Nature Bill is a private member’s bill calling on the government to enact stronger laws to protect nature and work towards net zero. Climate change and the Biodiversity crisis will cause real damage to the economy, so taking early and effective measures to address the climate and nature emergencies, is not only good for the environment, it is also good for us.
If the Climate and Nature Bill was brought into law, it would not be the first time that the UK government had enacted climate positive legislation. The 2007 Climate Change Act is a great example of what can be achieved when people work together to enact real change. So join in and lobby for nature restoration and climate action.
What can you do?
The Government and people in charge need to know that we care about the environment, and that it needs to remain as a priority in government and local council decision making. Now is the time to spread the word, tell your friends and write to you MP and local councillors to demand REAL Change for climate and nature.
Then, on 9 July 2025, join the mass lobby to parliament and meet with your MP. One of the most powerful ways to make the Mass Lobby count is by inviting your MP to take part and meet you in Westminster on Wednesday 9th July 2025.
A majority of people in the UK, want to see real action to tackle the climate and nature emergencies. Local groups from Ealing will be attending the mass lobby. Join them and add your voice!
