Community Climate Grants

Round 3 of the Community Climate grants is open for applications from Tuesday 24th June 2025 until Tuesday 22nd July 2025 . You can apply on the Ealing Council website – Community climate grants Ealing Council. If you work for public benefit and are a not-for-profit organisation; and are based or predominantly active in the borough of Ealing, please apply. So if these do not apply to your organisation or group, you cannot be considered for the grant.

Ideas for projects for the grants are:

  • Energy: double glazing, LED lighting, light sensors, insulation, energy advice surgeries and solar panels.
  • Transport: cargo bike delivery instead of motor vehicles, enabling low-carbon transport and bicycle parking.
  • Waste: waste minimisation, reduction in food waste, repair and reuse and Library of Things.

These grants will not cover a community organisation’s day-to-day organisational overhead. So grants will not cover expenses such as rent, bills, administration costs and staffing costs.
