Come along on Saturday 23 August from 12-5pm for the Greenford Canal Festival 2025, a fun family day. All Ages Welcome. This free event centres on community, nature and creativity around and on the glorious Grand Union canal.
Greenford Quay is at Tillermans Court, Grenan Square, Greenford UB6 0FP alongside the Grand Union canal. Come along for a free family day out that celebrates nature, canal-side life and sporting activities.
Greenford Canal Festival 2025 Activities
Lots of activities to get involved with at the Greenford Quay Festival on Saturday 23 August from 12-5pm at Greenford Quay. The activities include:
- Ealing Repair Cafe: Clothes: Bring your favourite clothes that needs mending to the Ealing Repair Café and learn how to mend them and see them spring back to life! All the family can make nature inspired upcycled T-shirt nature bracelets. Book a slot
- Live music performances from Hanwell Hootie throughout the festival.
- Dog Circus: The Incredibly Clever Canine Circus will turn your pooch into a superstar. No training needed, all dogs welcome if they play nicely with others.
- Professor Slug Theatre Show: Step into the magical, slimy world of Professor Slug! Lots of laughs, learning, and a bit of gooey fun. This theatre show is perfect kids and their grown-ups. Floor matting will be provided.
- Buzz and Bumble Dance Walkabout: This adorable bee duo will spread pollination joy across the festival. Learn the famous waggle dance and try fun bee-themed challenges!
- Bubble Artist: Watch in wonder as our magical Bubble Fairy drifts creates shimmering spheres that dance on the breeze.
- Let’s Draw Now! Discover your artistic talents and create some fantastic art together. This urban sketching event has become a firm favourite.
- Paddleboarding: Whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned pro, paddleboarding is a fun and a great way to explore the canal. Sign up at the gazebo. Run by London Paddleboard team.
- Elsdale Boat: Scenic boat trip for a perfect way to soak in the sights, relax with friends, and enjoy a slice of festival life from the water. Spaces are limited, and it’s a first served basis for places.
- Art & Maker Market: Discover unique handmade treasures from local artists, creatives, and independent makers.
- Food & Drink: Enjoy street food, canal-side cocktails, and pop-up cafes serving delicious treats throughout the day.
