Activities on the day
Seed to Juice workshops
Children for this Apple Day time can do Seed to Juice workshops. Thanks to the Mayor’s Community Weekend fund they will run workshops throughout the day. At the workshop children can learn the life cycle of an apple tree in one of their orchards. Through storytelling, exploring and having a go, they will learn how our trees grow. Then how the apples get turned into juice and which animals benefit along the way!
Sessions will run every hour, starting from 11.30, they last for approx 30 mins, suitable for children aged 5-11. Places are limited, sign up for a session at the Horsenden World stand when you arrive on the day.
