The CUT THE CRAP offers ideas on how to reduce, reuse and recycle waste and thus helping ourselves and others. Its well travelled having been to libraries, community centres and other public spaces around Ealing.

Pop along to have a look at all the interesting facts and tips. Take a pledge to reduce the waste we produce.

Cut the Crap Pledges:
REPAIR: I pledge to repair my clothes when they get ripped or torn
REDUCE: I pledge to buy naked fruit and vegetables (not wrapped in plastic)
RECYCLE: I pledge to recycle my soft plastics at a supermarket

Put a token in the bottles to pledge to:

  • REPAIR: I pledge to repair my clothes when they get ripped or torn
  • REDUCE: I pledge to buy naked fruit and vegetables (not wrapped in plastic)
  • RECYCLE: I pledge to recycle my soft plastics at a supermarket

The campaign stresses the importance of reducing and reusing generally. So, if neither of these is possible, only then do we recycle. With lots of imaginative solutions to try, CUT THE CRAP will inspire you to think about what you consume and reduce your waste.

If you visit the exhibition, please share your experience with us and what you have inspired you at the exhibition and what you will do to reduce waste. Share your it and your own tips on how you reduce your waste by sending it to us or comment below.
