On 7 May 2026 councillors will be elected to your local council. Ealing Cycling Campaign is doing its part to promote local democracy and is holding an election hustings at 6.30pm on 8th April 2026 at the Questors Theatre!
Candidates from all the main political parties contesting seats in the borough have been invited, and attendance is confirmed from at least the Labour Party, the Green Party, the Liberal Democrats, the Conservative Party, and the Ealing Independents. The candidates will be available to answer your questions. It is hoped that the audience will be ready to put questions to them on matters like greener and safer transport in the borough, protection of the borough’s green spaces and natural environment, and so on.
The hustings will be held in the Shaw Room at the Questors Theatre on Wednesday April 8th starting at 6.30pm and finishing at 8.30pm. The room’s capacity is limited to 40 people, so entry will be on a first come first served basis. Don’t be late! There will be the opportunity to submit questions to the candidates during the event.

They run cycle rides and social events, hold maintenance classes and training sessions. and organise campaigns to make cycling more accessible and safer for all. More About Questors Theatre
The Questors Theatre in Ealing is one of the largest community theatres in Europe, with a membership of around 1,500, of whom around 600 are actively involved in productions. We offer our members a wide range of activities and social events, in addition to a season of around twenty shows a year, a variety of courses and workshops, and a regular programme of visiting companies. We also have a very lively social club in The Grapevine Bar. Members can get involved in all aspects of production, as well as participate in the running of events, marketing, front-of-house, and other activities. At the theatre, we actively promote waste recycling, make conscious choices to re-use and re-purpose set, costumes and scenery; and have replaced disposable plastic cups in our theatre spaces with reusable cups.
