Whether you cycle to work, ride for leisure or are have a bike that’s been sitting in the shed bring it along to Ealing Broadway on Sunday 1st November from 12 noon until 3 pm. Come along for the free Dr Bike event at Ealing Broadway is a great opportunity to get your bike checked and ready for the winter months ahead.
On Sunday 1 November, experienced bike mechanics will be offering free bike safety checks, minor repairs and maintenance advice at Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre. The event takes place outside Tesco Express from midday to 3pm, and there is no need to book. Just bring your bike along.
Get your bike ready for winter
Shorter days and colder weather can be tough on bikes. Regular maintenance helps keep your bike safe, reliable and ready for everyday journeys. This will keep your bike in good condition and on the road for longer.
At the Dr Bike event, mechanics will carry out free safety checks and make minor adjustments on the spot, including:
- Brake adjustments
- Gear tuning
- Tyre inflation
- General safety checks
You’ll also receive practical advice on looking after your bike throughout the year.
Expert cycling advice
The event is being delivered by Let’s Ride Southall in partnership with Decathlon. Decathlon staff will be on hand to offer advice on cycling equipment, accessories, bike servicing and workshop facilities. Whether you have a family bike, commuter bike or leisure bike, the event is open to all.
