Free Dr Bike Checks in Ealing: Keep Your Bike Roadworthy

Get your bike checked at the free Dr Bike checks run around the Ealing Borough. These sessions are run by Let’s Ride Southall. Dr Bike is a free service where mechanics will carry out minor repairs on the spot and give advice on how to look after your bike to keep you riding all year round. See their schedule below and pop along.

Free Checks and Minor Repairs

Pop along to Dr Bike for bike checks in Ealing where their mechanics will check your bike to make sure it’s roadworthy. They will make small adjustments and repairs if necessary, such as tuning your gears, adjusting your brakes or pumping your tyres. They will also be able to advise and refer you to a bike shop for anything more serious that cannot be fixed there and then.

Dr Bike free bike check sessions from Ealing Council will take place at the following times, dates and locations:

  • First Saturday: Haven Green, Ealing, W5 2UZ From 10am to 1pm, 6 September
  • First Saturday: Acton Market, The Mount, King Street, W3 9NW (By Morrisons). From 2pm to 5pm: 6 September
  • Second Saturday: West Ealing Farmers Market, Leeland Road, Ealing W13 9HH. 9am to midday: 13 September
  • Second Saturday: Hanwell Clock Tower, W7. From 1pm to 4pm, 13 September
  • Northala Café, Northala Fields Parkrun, Kensington Road, 20 September and 18 October
  • Last Saturday: Old Southall, Manor House, The Green, UB2 4BJ From 10am to 1 pm, 30 August, 27 September
  • Last Saturday: New Southall, Southall Square, 57-78 High Street, UB1 3DB From 2pm to 5pm, 30 August, 27 September
  • Horsenden Park, 1pm to 4pm Saturdays, 20 September and 18 October

Dr Bike is free and designed as a drop-in session with no need to book your free bike checks. 

Let’s Ride Southall Workshop

Also Let’s Ride Southall Mechanics Workshop that is based at a commercial unit at the back of the car park of Gurdwara Sri Guru Sabha Southall, 2-8 Park Avenue, Southall, UB1 3AG. You can see the workshop from Southall Elizabeth Line Station with a red bike on the outside and a large Let’s Ride Southall logo. The workshop can provide general repairs and servicing. It also provides free led rides for local residents each day. The Mechanics Workshop opening times are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm and Saturday, 10am to 1pm.
