ActForEaling is helping residents save money and reduce waste through a series of events for free school uniform in August. From Monday 17th August to Saturday 29th August 2026, families can get good quality free school uniform. It will help to reduce back-to-school expenses while giving clothes a longer life. You can also donate old school uniform at drop off points around the borough.
Helping families and reducing waste
The ActforEaling School Uniform project makes it easy for families to access the essential uniform they need. By getting this uniform, families avoid the financial burden of buying new items. By reusing school uniform, residents can also help reduce clothing waste. It keeps usable clothing in circulation for longer.
The project welcomes both donations and collections of school uniform. Families can donate outgrown uniform, take items they need, or do both. Available items include branded and unbranded primary and secondary school uniform. Plus sportswear, footwear, rucksacks and school bags, depending on donations received.

- Tuesday 18 August – Perceval House, W5 2HL, 11am–3pm
- Wednesday 19 August – Perceval House, W5 2HL, 11am–3pm
- Thursday 20 August – Perceval House, W5 2HL, 11am–3pm
- Friday 21 August – ReActon, W3 8DJ, 11am–2pm
- Monday 24 August – ReActon, W3 8DJ, 11am–2pm
- Tuesday 25 August – Perceval House, W5 2HL, 11am–3pm
- Wednesday 26 August – West Ealing Library, W13 9BT, 10am–1pm
- Thursday 27 August – Perceval House, W5 2HL, 11am–3pm
- Saturday 29 August – Southall Manor House, UB2 4BJ, 11am–12 noon
