ARTifcation’s next Harvest W3 community event will celebrate the season — and officially launch the W3 Garden. Get in touch with ARTification if you’d like a stall, or would like to run an activity. Or come along and simply enjoy food, creativity, community and the garden as it develops.

ARTification Community Orchard
‘ARTification, The Orchard Project and Earthwatch are launching a new community orchard at North Acton Playing Fields. Local people are encouraged to get involved in the co-creation, practical workshops and environmental training as the orchard takes shape. This builds on ARTification’s ongoing work connecting creativity, community and the environment
‘We’re excited to be working with Artification to plant the W3 Community Orchard this Winter. A community orchard/food forest is a space with five to ten fruit or nut trees planted at the heart of it, with additional edible planting around the trees such as fruit bushes or herbs. It is a vibrant common space that is co-designed by the community. Our community groups tell us their food forest is a place to bring people together, share food and a space to enjoy nature within urban settings, whilst also supporting wildlife. We’ll be running a series of workshops, come chat to us at the October Harvest festival on 24th October, taste some autumn fruit and london made apple juice, and find out how to get involved and help shape the orchard’’.
