London Tails of Amphibian Discovery (T.O.A.D) Tuesday 21st September

The project aims to benefit the UK’s beleaguered common toads through a range of engagement and practical conservation activities. Self-guided walks, and info/advice regarding amphibians and habitats will be available on the day.

Directions for the meeting point:

Walk right along the towpath from the end of Green Lane W7 2PE, for 30 metres. Cross the canal at Lock 97 (note the furthest lock gates have a wider platform to cross on). Walk left up the slope for 20 metres and turn left in the woodland.  Follow the path for 20 metres across the little stream. Continue walking along the edge of Trumpers Field for 50 metres towards the pond in the corner.
