Nature Events in Boston Manor Park

Boston Manor Park Events

Winter Wellbeing Family Walk, Tuesday 20 Dec, 2pm-3pm. Join Tash for a family friendly nature walk, learn a bit about the wildlife that lives in the park, and the plants that make that possible. No pre booking required, free, meet under the Great Cedar Tree on the main lawn.

Free Toddler and Parent play:

Toddler and Parent Woodland Adventure Play, every Tuesday from Tues 15 Nov to Tues 13 Dec, 10 – 11.15am. For under 5s. All children must be accompanied by adult. Join us for nature and adventure play. Please book your free place by emailing bostonmanorpark@hounslow.gov.uk

Volunteering and Conservation opportunities:

New volunteers, before joining a session please email bostonmanorpark@hounslow.gov.uk to arrange your induction.

Weekend Gardening session, Saturday 26 November, 1.30-3.30pm. Its National Tree Planting Week! Join us to help plant up a new hedgerow by Boston Manor House and some saplings in the woodland. Meet by the Service Yard/ Walled Garden (opposite the Tennis Courts). Wear shoes or boots that you don’t mind getting muddy! Gloves and tools provided, all ages welcome.

Weekly Gardening and Conservation Volunteering, every Tuesday, 10am-12.30pm, meet outside the Service Yard/ Walled Garden (opposite the tennis courts).  Suitable for ages 14 upwards (under 18s require parent/carer consent). Join Natural Park Manager, Vanessa, and carry out a variety of conservation and horticulture tasks around the park. Wear sturdy boots/ shoes and clothes for working outdoors.

Youth Volunteering, Saturday 3rd December, Sat 17 December 10.30-12.30. We are expanding our volunteering opportunities specifically for young people (14–18-year-olds) and will be running regular sessions for teenagers looking to meet the D of E award ‘Volunteering’ requirement and all teenagers wanting to volunteer. Activities could include conservation, gardening and helping run family events.
