Half Term Nature Events in Boston Manor Park

There’s a fantastic selection of nature and conservation based events on offer at Boston Manor Park. A great opportunity to get-out-of the house, and into nature, and to support local wildlife.

Guided Nature Walk with Vanessa, Park Manager, Saturday 11th February, 2pm-3pm. Join Vanessa for a nature walk aimed at teenagers and adults, learn a bit about the wildlife that lives in the park, and the trees and habitats that make that possible. No booking required, meet by the wooden QEII crown sculpture on the main lawn.

Bulb planting, Saturday 11 February, 11-3pm: Come and plant some woodland bulbs! All welcome. Head for woodland trail by lake. Call Tash on 07931 665979 if you can’t find us.

Assault course physical fun for families, Monday 13th February, 11-12.30pm. Attempt our fun physical challenges (all children and their adults can take part)- balancing, climbing, jumping… we’ll have the slack line up too and conker and spoon games! Meet by Hub.

Help our hedgehogs! Activities aimed at families, Monday 13th February, 2-3.30pm. Storytelling with author Joanne Gilbert, crafting, building hibernation homes. Learn about our oldest prickliest mammal, and how to help it. Meet by Hub.

Family Scavenger Hunt, Tuesday 14th February, 11am-12.30pm. Go off around the park to spot 10 features and come back and claim your prize! Start at Hub.

Make a birdfeeder for your garden! Tuesday 14th February, 2pm-3.30pm. Come and make a birdfeeder using natural or recycled materials and take it home for your balcony or garden. Meet by Hub.
