On Saturday 2nd July, Northfields Allotments is opening its gates to the public for a day, inviting the local community to enjoy our allotment site.
Gates will open at 1pm and the event will run until 5pm. There will be tea, homemade cakes, a BBQ and a bar, and you can buy plants and fruit , and jams and preserves grown and made by the plotholders with fruit from their plots.
This is a lovely event where you can explore the oldest allotments in London. Take a peek into our WW2 Anderson shelter, look around the restored vintage sheds, and get some inspiration for growing your own vegetables, fruit and flowers.
