Katherine Buchan Meadow achieved a London in Bloom Gold Award in the Community category and Outstanding for It’s Your Neighbourhood. They are extremely proud and grateful to all their supporters and volunteers for helping in gaining the award.
The Katherine Buchan Meadow received the Green Flag Award with high praise from the judges’ feedback.
It’s Your Neighbourhood awards is London in Bloom’s major community participation programme and is run on behalf of the RHS Britain in Bloom Campaigns. This programme focuses on community participation,
environmental Responsibility and gardening.
Signage
Also at Katherine Buchan Meadow there has been the addition of interpretation signs to the meadow installed in December. This has been a huge project for the committee as it is the final piece of our initially funded proposal. They hope they will enhance and inform people’s experience of the meadow.
