There are not one but two bird walks this weekend in Boston Manor Park.
Bird Walk and Survey, 8.30am
Boston Manor Park and Ealing WildLife Group are hosting a Bird Walk and survey on Saturday 27th January 2024 in the park, between 8:30am-10.00am.Take a leisurely walk around the park to record numbers and species of birds in the park. No experience is necessary but bring binoculars if you have them. This walk will be led by Nigel Dodd from the West London Birders Meet at the Boston Gardens entrance to the park near the top of the lake. This is an opportunity for birds watchers to help with a count.
About West London Birders
As a community of bird enthusiasts, West London Birders aim to share their bird knowledge. The group formed in 2008 following the closure of the local RSPB chapter, with a mission is to continue hosting an engaging array of events. Outings to explore premier birdwatching locations within a couple of hours of Ealing are regularly planned. Additionally, the West London Birders convene a monthly Conservation Working Party at RSPB Church Wood reserve in Hedgerley, Buckinghamshire, engaging in activities such as coppicing, fencing, and nest box monitoring. Activities extend to weekend getaways and an annual overseas trip. Whether you’re a novice or a devoted birder, all are welcome to join.

Exploring Hidden Avian Marvels: The Mosaic Birds of the Park – 2.00pm
Boston Manor Park are hosting a guided walk in their woodlands and wetlands to discover the Mosaic Birds of the park. Meet Tash at 2.00pm outside the walled garden and gain knowledge about the various bird species inhabiting Boston Manor Park.
