ARTification events

ARTification connect people and place by curating a vibrant arts culture and transforming natural spaces. Since 2003 they have collaborated with artists and residents to enhance cultural venues and experiences with people in Acton. This year they have launched Edible Acton, creating opportunities to create, make, grow and learn together at our Arts Café and market Garden in North Acton Pavilion and W3 Gallery on Acton High Street. ARTIFication’s Urban Oasis – Calling all Urban Gardeners

Calling all gardeners, no experience needed, as there is support and guidance to turn the community garden into an urban oasis for all to enjoy.  Growing veg, tasting healing teas, creating eco-art. At North Acton Playing Fields the Green Team run W3 Gardening on Wednesdays & Saturdays from 10 am to 4 pm. https://artification.org.uk/blog/green-team

Eco-Conscious Arts

ARTification also run a number of weekly Art classes at W3 gallery for those interested in capturing the beauty of nature in art form. Courses include:

  • Landscape painting with Peter on Saturdays from 3.00pm – 5.00pm (£12 per class)
  • Drawing and botanic art class with Ross on Wednesdays from 11.00am – 1.00pm (£10 per class). Book with Ros on 07713 163756.

Mend and Natter

Ealing Repair Cafe’s comes along to W3 Gallery for a mend and natter. The next event at ARTification takes place on Thursday 15 February, 6.00pm to 7.30pm. All levels of sewing welcome, from beginners to advance, there’s always something new to share or learn. Ealing Repair Cafe ask for a small donation and suggest a £3 donation.
