Mothers’ Climate Action Network (Mothers CAN) is looking for a part-time Operations Manager who can work from home. The purpose of this green job is to support and expand this growing network of climate savvy mothers across the UK. The role offers flexible part-time hours and a wonderful opportunity to learn in a dynamic and growing organisation.
Mothers CAN is looking for an individual that has practical skills and experience from previous roles: professional, voluntary or personal. No specific qualifications are required. About Mothers CAN
Launched in 2021, Mothers’ Climate Action Network is a group of mothers working together to bring about real change that will protect the climate now and for future generations. They are creating a network across the UK. Through training and ongoing peer support, they build members’ skills to create a more sustainable world for future generations.
They currently have 10 active groups across the UK. They have trained over 60 mothers to motivate communities nationwide to make greener choices and create healthier neighbourhoods for all.
About the role
This is a new role is a brand new green job at Mothers CAN and will be their only paid member of staff. The Operations Manager will play a key role in building the network and supporting the Co-Directors with campaigns, communications and outreach.
