Building on the success of last year’s event, which saw participation from over 100 local groups, Young Ealing Foundation are running the 2024 Ealing Funders Fair. The fair will be at The Questers Theatre on Tuesday 26th November 2024, from 1.00 to 4.00 pm. This fair will provide a valuable opportunity for funders to connect with voluntary and community groups supporting children, young people, and families. It will feature presentations on the local funding landscape, open grant programmes, and time for networking in a ‘marketplace’ setting.
Some of the funders onsite include specific funding for environmental or climate action projects and these are:
- Groundworks: Green Grant Funding available: https://www.groundwork.org.uk/apply-for-a-grant/
- National Grid: Projects with environmental benefits:

About Young Ealing Foundation
The Young Ealing Foundation (YEF) is an independent registered charity established in 2017 and are part of the Young People’s Foundation network created by John Lyon’s Charity who developed the network in response to the ongoing challenges faced by the children and young people’s sector. Young People’s Foundations (YPFs) operate across the UK and bring together the public, private and voluntary sectors to effect positive change for young people. Supported by the YPF Trust, they are modelled on the original eight YPFs set up in boroughs in the John Lyon’s Charity beneficial area, of which Ealing is one.
Ealing is the third largest London borough in terms of population and has a large and continually active voluntary and community sector working to address the key issues impacting children and young people. The Young Ealing Foundation exists as a membership organisation to support these vital delivery groups and provide them with the skills to not just survive recent crises, but to become sustainable and thrive.

Young Ealing Foundation is currently one of ActforEaling’s partners.
