Sustainable Food Discussion following screening ‘I Could Never Go Vegan’

“I could never go vegan” movie is showing at UWL on Tuesday, 26 November. The film is a well-researched, “thoughtful, provocative, ultimately persuasive”. The documentary is about the meat and dairy industries, veganism and animal rights, with “approachable narration and well-presented information”.

This event is a collaboration between the University of West London and community organisations ActforEaling, the Ealing Food Partnership, and Ealing Transition. Their previous event series was nominated for a Green Gown Award. Learn more here: University of West London Green Gown Awards.

Time Out says I could never go vegan is “Persuasive and Passionate” and how plant-based diets could save the planet. The maths on meat-production just doesn’t add up to a healthy planet. This is because eight-three percent of all arable land is used to grow food to feed animals. The meat produced will only account for 18 percent of our calorie intake.
