The electrical repair sessions are popular in Ealing such as Acton Free Clothes & Electrical Repair workshop. Ealing Repair cafe get lots of enquires about electrical repairs. We would love to run more of Electrical repair events around Ealing Borough in partnership with Ealing Repair café and Ealing Council, but in the Ealing borough, as yet we haven’t discovered any electrical fixers.

Waste and especially electrical waste is a big problem and causes local and internal problems around the world, as our ActForEaling Cut the Crap exhibition illustrates.
Every time you spend money you’re casting a vote for the kind of world you want. To get things repaired is an easy solution to our mountains of waste.
Did you know in the UK, we discard 155,000 tonnes of electricals every year. When these items could be reused or recycled. This e-waste poses a major threat to the environment, wildlife and to human health. The UK ranks second to Norway in the most e-waste produced a 2022 study has found.
Ealing Repair Cafe
Ealing Repair cafe has been going since 2019. It started with the ambition to do all types of repairs but up to now they have been able to get volunteers interested in repairing clothing and textil items at our events.
Their first get together was on 5 February 2019 at Northfields Community centre in the smallest room with about 4 people. They managed to get through the pandemic find new locations and grow into a multi location group.
Ealing Repair have also built up a following and have a popular Facebook page of over 1.1k followers and a mailing list of just under 350 subscribers, sign up here. So this is a great platform for Electrical repair to expand in.
