Come along and help clean up the Western Road community Urban Garden in Southall. Join the GoodGym task on Saturday 15 March at 10 am. Get involved and help with the site clean up. Everybody welcome, from children to adults.
The Western Road Urban Garden project aims to create an accessible community green space in an area that most local people are completely unaware of. The 2600 sq metres site of former Western Road Allotments has fallen into neglect in the past few decades but has a great future ahead of it. The creation of the multipurpose community garden which will provide food, horticulture, leisure and community interaction.
Community days help with site maintenance with Southall Community Alliance and GoodGym arranging them. It will be a fun outdoor exercise with a lot of physical work and friendly GoodGym volunteers. 🤸🏽 And hopefully samosas to snack on! Register with GoodGym task so they know you are coming.

Outdoor maintenance and various gardening tasks

🧤 What to bring? Gardening gloves, if you have them.
🕑 When? Saturday 15th March 2025 at 10:00 am.
The event will last 3 hours. If you can spare an hour or two, please join us, every little helps.
