New Ealing Regional Park Proposal: Join the Exciting Plans

A new Ealing regional park is planned in the borough and Ealing Council want to hear from you. Join the workshop on Tuesday 11 March 2025 from 5 pm which will explore the draft plan for the park. Ealing Council wants to hear from residents, stakeholders, and design experts to develop a draft concept plan.

The park will create a thriving natural, cultural, and recreational hub for the borough. Parks and green spaces support mental and physical health. Majority of UK adults confirmed that being close to nature improves their mood. Plus almost half said being close to nature helps them to cope with stress. People with nature on their doorstep are more active, mentally resilient and have better all-round health. Evidence shows that a thriving, wildlife-rich environments such as parks benefits both physical and mental health.

The proposed Ealing regional park will be a large green space that connects different areas. It will offer opportunities for nature conservation, leisure, sports, and community activities. The park will link existing open spaces like Perivale Park, Horsenden Hill, Churchfields, and Warren Farm. So the park will create a more accessible and lively natural network. This park project builds on the Ealing Council’s commitment to tackling climate change and improving biodiversity. Also the park will enhance public access to high-quality green spaces. Ealing Council are hosting workshops with a range of stakeholders across Ealing. They want to hear your thoughts and feedback on these initial plans, and your ideas for taking it forward. Register and participate to be part of this exciting work to develop a shared vision for the park.
