Join Friends of Horsenden Hill on Saturday 12th April 2025 for a number of spring nature themed outdoor events. Enjoy a walk around the woods in the spring, refresh yourself with local beer and pizza, or more adventurous, learn to forage from the local flora with a Totally Wild foraging course.
Nature walk: the wood in spring – 12 April: 10 am to 12 pm
Trees will be budding, birds singing and flowers blooming – a magical time. Meet in the Dawson’s Mead car park (opposite the Ballot Box) for one of the spring nature events. Meet at 10 am returning around 12.00. Please book in advance with tickets are £5, but children 13 and under go free. Wear appropriate footwear and clothing for uneven terrain and protection from plants such as nettles, and the elements. The leader of the walk is Martin Smith, former Horsenden ranger, and trustee of Friends of Horsenden. Reservations and more information here.
If you fancy refreshments after walking up an appetite, the Horsenden Loaf will be serving freshly baked pizza from their woodfired oven alongside Perivale Brewery, who will have a selection of their beers on offer. £12 a pizza. The usual café/bakery hours will operate with coffee and other baked goods. Last orders for pizza at 4pm. More information and reservations here.
Foraging Course at Horsenden Farm : Saturday 12 10am to 4pm
