The Great Big Green week 2025 is coming up from 7th – 15th June. There are many ways you can get involved. Such as running an event, or attending one of the Big Green Events.
The Great Big Green Week 2025 will bring together 1 million people taking action on climate and nature. So take part by:
- Organise an event – Litter picks, repair cafés, clothes swaps or getting everyone together for a nature trail. Take part by downloading their event guide. Also, register your event at the Organisers hub
- Anyone can take part – Schools, local businesses, community groups, faith groups, family and friends – spread the word.
- Attend an event – Don’t have time to organise an event but would love to take part? – their Great Big Green Week calendar will show you events happening in your area.
They have free packs for Events organisers – branded promotional materials, posters, bunting and more to support you. Go to the Organisers hub to find out more.
About the Big Green Week
The first Great Big Green Week took place in September 2021. Established by the Climate Coalition. It was the largest event for climate and nature ever seen in the UK, with over 5,000 events taking place up and down the country.
Since then, Great Big Green Week has continued to grow and in 2024, 600,000 people took part. Communities, national organisations, institutions, businesses and media outlets joined in, ultimately putting pressure on the government to up its game on climate change.
