Volunteer on Saturday, 26 April for Biodiversity & Brews at Perivale Brewery for Regen City Nature Challenge 2025.
Join in a fun outdoor experience as you explore the biodiversity of Horsenden Hill and contribute to a global citizen science initiative – the Global City Nature Challenge 2025.
Date: Saturday, 25 April from 10:00 am – 2:30 pm
Location: Perivale Brewery, Horsenden Farm, West London
The City Nature Challenge 2025 will help put London on the biodiversity map. The event is hosted by Regen City in collaboration with partners: The Green Londoner, Wildya, and Go Jauntly. Together, we’ll connect with nature, by exploring explore the Horsenden Hill Nature Reserve. Also making meaningful observations using the iNaturalist app, and help put London on the biodiversity map.

Biodiversity & Brews for Regen City Nature Challenge: What to expect:
- A Guided Nature Walk using the Go Jauntly app around the Horsenden Nature Reserve
- Hands-on experience using the iNaturalist app for species identification and contribute real data to the Global City Nature Challenge initiative
- Meet like-minded climate and nature professionals
- Pizza & drinks at the cozy Perivale Brewery (don’t forget to bring card or cash for this part!)
- Friendly competition and collaboration
Why it matters:
The biodiversity crisis is happening right in our cities. This event is a small, fun way to take meaningful action: reconnecting with nature, community and generating real data for science.
Schedule for Biodiversity & Brews
- 10:00 am – Meet & Greet at Perivale Brewery
- 11:00 am – Nature walk in small groups
- 12:30 pm – Return to Perivale Brewery for drinks & pizza
- 2:00 pm – Review results & wrap up
Please note: This is a volunteer-led initiative. The event is free to join, but if you’d like to stick around afterwards for pizza and drinks at Perivale Brewery, you’ll need to bring a card or some cash to pay for your own food and beverages.
