Francesca Busca transforms waste into sustainable artworks where Art Meets Activism to protest disposable lifestyles and inspire systemic re-thinking. She has an exhibition as part of the ActOne FOOTPRINTS environmental strand. Francesca is doing a talk about where Art Meets Activism alongside the screening of OCEAN, where David Attenborough delivers his greatest message of hope in this spectacular new film.
FRANCESCA BUSCA
Founder of ArtforTrash (made with the clients’ waste) and Payment in Kind(ness), Francesca engages in pro bono projects. She aims to spark maximum engagement with minimum impact. Ex-City solicitor, then graduate and lecturer at the London School of Mosaic, she is currently on retainer with the Institute of Marine Sciences in Venice and teaches eco-artivism at the Italian School in London. She supports multiple environmental organizations and donates 10% of her income from ArtforTrash commissions.
