Family-Friendly Bike Ride Through Ealing’s Green Spaces

Join this family friendly free in a bike route on 24 May between Pitshanger Park and Churchfields Recreation Ground. You will take in some of the borough’s Ealing’s Green spaces including Brent Valley Park, Pear Tree Park, Perivale Park and picturesque St Mary’s Church in Perivale.

The route has designed so it is an enjoyable route. There is only one short, steep hill that will test your fitness level. Or you can walk up it or down it.

Date & Time: Saturday, 24th May 2025, starting at 11.00 am

Route through Ealing’s Green spaces:

  • Choose either starting point of Pitshanger Park and Churchfields Recreation Ground and ride to the other park.
  • At the other park, you will have an hour to explore. You have a picnic, or just relax, and then ride back with the group to your starting park.
  • You can also join the rides in Perivale Park by the playground at the Cowgate Road entrance. They will pass by between 11.30am and 11.45am. Ride to Churchfields Recreation Ground or Pitshanger Park, and back.

Safety: Each ride will be escorted by accredited instructors and volunteers. Please ensure you have water and a bike that is in good working order, particularly with functioning brakes. Families, adults and children aged over 6 years old are welcome to participate.

Booking: Please book a free ticket with Eventbrite for the ride you would like to join.

Dr Bike will also be available for the free bike service. The Dr Bike mechanics will carry out minor repairs on the spot. They also give advice on how to look after your bike on the day.
