Discover the advantages of shopping refill with Ealing’s schools
Cut harsh chemicals and plastic pollution
It has never been easier to cut harsh chemicals in your home and tackle plastic pollution at the same time! This is all thanks to the brilliant Pupils Profit programme being run in six local schools across Ealing.
Developing local eco-entrepreneurs
Thanks to support from Ealing Council, participating schools have been training pupils to run Pupils Profit refill shops. These shops sell a variety of products ranging from shampoo to laundry liquid to soap. The pupils learn vital entrepreneurial skills, as they are responsible for marketing and finance through to logistics and customer service.
Everything sold through the Pupils Profit programme raises money for the school. This income can then be reinvested in the refill shop or other projects to support the school. This is a wonderful hands-on experience for pupils to develop vital skills in the context of the circular economy.
